Our point of view
BeijingSauce is taking shape as an independent guide to the city: original writing, individual places and personal observations.
How we review
We pay for every drink. We go back again and again, so over the years most bars in this guide have had thousands of yuan of our money. Some have had well over ten thousand.
Every page says plainly whether we have been. Bars we know carry our own take and a Verified tag. A few we have not reached yet are researched from menus and visitors’ posts, with the sources listed, and get our take after we go.
